Fendi Vintage Janus Karung Snakeskin Camera Crossbody RARE Brown Exotic EUC

An ULTRA-RARE early vintage Fendi collector’s piece believed to date to circa 1979–1982, appears to be crafted in supple dark brown Karung watersnake with buttery cream glove-leather lining and finished with the iconic Janus medallion hardware, made in Italy. Note: possible this is Lizard, not Snake.

Includes original “FENDI ROMA 1925” zipper pull, FENDI SAS ROMA Made in Italy plaque, & all original hardware. Interior is clean. The exotic skin remains soft and flexible—rare for a bag over 40 years old. The original strap remains intact & adjustable. The exotic skin remains soft and supple with only very minor light signs of vintage wear to the edges and strap, consistent with age.

The Janus medallion represents the Roman god Janus, symbolizing Fendi’s Roman heritage. This hardware was used for a brief period before they moved to the “FF” logo era, making Janus pieces especially desirable among vintage Fendi collectors.
